Derek's car fails to start. He asks Kevin to fix it but Kevin slams the door in his face. Sally has enough of the banging and tells Steve that he's ripping her nerves to pieces. Someone complains about Kevin's servicing to the Police. The Police tell Kevin to find somewhere else to set up business. Liz begs Jim to get planning permission and proper plans. Mavis lets it slip that Derek informed the Police, Sally rows with her. The residents accuse Derek of acting out of spite. Kevin explodes at the McDonald twins when they start throwing concrete around. He threatens Jim with the Police if it carries on. Nicky tells Gail that Ivy has told him that he'll inherit all her money if he stays a Tilsley.
