Once a part of the Necromancer Kingdom, the Withering Realm is but a shadow of its former self. A desolate wasteland ruled by plague-ridden undead, the only remaining oasis of life is the city of Sar Tasai, where the humans struggle against endless waves of undead that attack the city from the Forsaken Kingdom to the north or by the sea.
