SHIROBAKO is an original anime series by P.A.WORKS and Cooking Mama Limited directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, aired in October 2014. The teaser tagline translated as "The 'Present and Future' of anime industry is here." A manga adaptation written by Kenji Sugihara and illustrated by Mizutama started serialization in Dengeki Daioh's November 2014 issue, published on September 27.
