Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a cop chase-oriented, action racing video game series published by Electronic Arts as part of their overall Need for Speed series. Various games in the series has been developed by EA Canada, EA Black Box and Criterion Games. It is the most successful sub-series in the Need for Speed franchise.[citation needed]
