The shop and equipment in Dissidia Final Fantasy are unique in several ways. Equipment can be equipped by multiple characters simultaneously, negating the need to buy multiple copies. The shop offers special "trade goods", equipment that can only be bought by trading accessories in addition to gil. These items can usually be acquired through Battlegen and the Duel Colosseum. New shop items can be unlocked by leveling up, finding new trade accessories, and purchasing the ability to buy them in the PP Catalog.
