The missile chased Sonic the Hedgehog through the Metropolis Zone and revealed that the hedgehog must solve a series of riddles to get the chance to deactivate it. The first task saw the missile free Mr Fry from the Metropolis City High Security Prison and somehow created a new Badnik in the Metropolis City Scrapyard. Sonic was then faced with a decision; he was allowed to pull one wire, one deactivating the missile, the other causing it to explode. Fortunately, Tekno the Canary (actually The Trickster in disguise) shut the missile down with a simple remote.
