The temple of Tempus the lord of battles was located in the Sea ward of Waterdeep. Rebuilt in 1346 DR. after the night of temple-fall in 1345 DR. In the year 1359 the temple complex was led by High Sword Turik Bloodhelm and Prior Maxtilar Rhebbos. This temple has provided services for the various combatants from the nearby Field of Triumph and also supports the Academy of Arms, dedicated to the fighting arts. Occasionally the clergy of Tempus will use the Field of Triumph for matters of honorable combat and contests of martial skill that may seem like gladiatorial matches to visitors.
