The Salus Corporation was an arms manufacturer based on the planet Rodia that marketed to bounty hunters. The company was well known for its Stalker Armor M1-10 and Tangler Elite 1 tangle gun, but the company also supplemented innovation with corporate espionage. Its DF-D1 Duo-Flechette Rifle was based on stolen designs of the Golan Arms FC-1 flechette launcher. The company became a government-owned division of Imperial Munitions after design flaws and fatal accidents with the DF-D1 came to light.
