When Kirsan fever overran the city, Kemp and several security teams rounded up the personnel. In an effort to offset the effects, they took a large amount of stimulants. They stunned an immune Teyla Emmagan and locked her in the brig. The effects of the stimulants caused paranoia and led to a conflict with Ronon Dex, who was also immune and carrying the cure. The city was eventually saved when Major Evan Lorne yielded to Ronon. (SGA: "Tabula Rasa")
