In Ōkami HD, among the multiple newly-added features is the achievement system, which award players when certain criteria are met. The achievements are divided into three primary categories: Gold, Silver and Bronze, in decreasing difficulty of obtaining, and one "ultimate" achievement, put in its own type, Platinum, obtained when all other achievements have been acquired. There are also Secret achievements, whose names and requirements are not shown on the achievement list when not obtained.
