The New Jersey Devils are an American professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Devils first arrived in Kansas City, Missouri in 1974, then moved to Denver, Colorado after two seasons. They moved into New Jersey in 1982, and currently play their home games at the Prudential Center.
