Jason McBain (born April 12 1974 in Kimberley, British Columbia) is a former ice hockey defenceman. McBain played over 700 games in the United States, Canada, and Europe and was the first captain of the Las Vegas Wranglers. McBain played his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Portland Winter Hawks and was a fourth round draft pick for the Hartford Whalers in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. McBain would play nine games for the Whalers over the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons.
