Mos Ila was a settlement on the planet Tatooine. It was established in the years of the Great Galactic War by Jawas who had restored a spaceport in the hopes of encouraging trade in the region. However, the Sith Empire took over the settlement and Imperial troops were responsible for driving the Jawas back into the deserts. This allowed a Sith garrison to be stationed in the region in order to explore the region of Anchorhead which was a former Czerka Corporation outpost. This was because the Sith Empire sought to find Czerka's Secret Weapons division laboratory that had been abandoned on Tatooine.
