R2-J1, also known as Long John, was an R2-series astromech droid in service on Xzylon's RPT-1 cruiser. It took part in the mission to Belsavis, where it melted snow to cause a small avalanche which buried a number of shadow troopers. The droid was destroyed during a battle in one of Plett's greenhouses, when the greenhouse was bombarded by a TIE Bomber.
