Danny Hargreaves was trader on Weatherfield Market, selling pots, lampshades and anything else he can make a profit from. He took a shine to Sally Webster, and together they opened D & S Hardware on Victoria Street. They became engaged but shortly before the wedding he called the marriage off, unsure as to whether Sally would be faithful to him.
