Nicholas is a main character and a former antagonist first encountered in Issue 71 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is a resident living at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and is the father of Mikey and the husband of Paula. He served as an antagonist of Volume 15: We Find Ourselves, wanting to strip Rick Grimes of his leadership position, before defecting from that plan and aiding Rick in the war against The Saviors, where he was killed, having sacrificed himself to save Rick.
