Greg was a troubled high school student who was suspended by his teacher Maria for bringing a knife to school. The incident caused Maria, a Future Whitelighter, to lose her way and quit. Leo Wyatt was sent to convince her to stay and posed as a handyman. Greg threatened Maria and knew where she lived. When he entered her apartment, Maria was able to talk him down with some encouragement from Leo. Greg then dropped the knife and ran off.
