Dr. Lars Gerstein is one of the characters that was featured in an old version of The Conduit manual. He never made it to the final version of the game. He was supposed to be the lead Trust scientist. In the manual, he is described as: "A very cold almost inhuman character. Obsessed with alien physiology, he looks at everybody as a specimen."
