Confederacy of the Imperial Union (CIU) was the non-official Imperial organization that was founded in 234 ABY by commander of capitals. Its purpose was to unite other planets to become one, though it was dissolved and rejected by the Empire-in-exile and Imperial Remnant in 235 ABY due to the lack of credits and not enough capital organizations (planets). Then came the Imperial Confederacy of Galactic Militaries, which was a military program after the rejection of CIU.
