The Shade Sword is basically the Ghostly Sword, but black with a different shape. It also resembles the later item Claymore, except with a dark texture and transparent. It may well be the evil version of the Claymore. Pressing R will project a black magic shockwave that drains the health of any nearby enemies to restore yours.
