Viscera Voltar was a General in the Republic army who founded the planet of Voltar. He helped to succeed the planet from the Republic decades before the Volta Wars. Originally from the then colony of Tannab, Viscera worked his way through the ranks, becoming a General shortly before leading the colonization of Voltar. After he and his crew were stranded on Voltar, Viscera broke ties with the Republic and declared the colony under his rule. He then named the planet after himself and ruled as Imporator, his self-declared title. Viscera died and was replaced by Sarda, who would carry Viscera's hatred towards the Republic into the Volta Wars.
