The original game was released alongside the Nintendo GameCube at its release and was also released for the Apple iPhone, and it has since spawned a sequel, Super Monkey Ball 2, and a spin off game, Super Monkey Ball Adventure. Super Monkey Ball Jr. and Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll were the two handheld games of the series; and most recently Super Monkey Ball debuted on the Wii with Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
