Rotten dryads are dryads who live in the remains of the battlefield where the War of the World Gate was fought over 5000 years ago, in a place now called Deathland. The dryads who died in this battle where turned to dust and then revived by an evil necromancer, who is slain during the Talking Forest quest. The rotten dryads' are confused and sad beings and will attack anything and anyone they see. A slayer level of 78 is needed to slay rotten dryads and they must be finished by a lit torch. They play a minor role in the Godslayer quest.
