Tymanther was a displaced section of the Abeiran, militaristic dragonborn-ruled state of Tymanchebar. Tymanther was located in the Old Empires region that was once southern Unther. The bulk of the dragonborn population resided in its capital, the citadel-city of Djerad Thymar.
