The AR-1 was a specially designed rifle manufactured by Greff-Timms Industrial for the Antarian Ranger organization. A powerful, long-range rifle, it featured a signal flare launch setting and a barrel mount that could be fitted with either a glowrod or a vibro-bayonet.
