The Portable GF Energy Cell is an individual Energy Cell found on the G.F.S. Olympus. It provides power to the Xenoresearch Lab. On her second visit to the room in an attempt to return to her Gunship, Samus witnesses several Pirate Militia steal this Cell from its station, causing a loss of power to the room. It locks access to other rooms, forcing Samus to take back the Cell by defeating the Pirates in a game of hot potato. After the Pirates are killed, Samus is able to collect the Cell and return it to its station, restoring power to the Xenoresearch Lab and opening an exit for her.
