Live in the USA is the first live album by Hop-Scotch. Released on August 19, 1982, the four-disc set contains live versions of selected tracks from their first two studio albums, Go Forth! and The Great Pretenders, and their first three EPs, Hop-Scotch's 1st Album... Well Kinda, The Super Men, and Piano. It was recorded at concerts on the North American leg of the band's Bathtub Grog Tour in Dallas, Texas, United States (at the Bronco Bowl); Akron, Ohio, United States (at the Akron Civic Theatre); Honolulu, Hawaii, United States (at Aloha Stadium); and New York City, New York, United States (at the Minskoff Theatre) on July 12, July 15, July 18, and July 20, 1982. The album was recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.
