The game designers were inspired by the Brütal Legend videogame and their musical experience with Metal music, this lead them to create MetalWorld. The game's main character Dani Stedjeberg, voiced by Matthew Mercer, a young metalhead, who is accidentally transported by a mytical music god to a distopia, as the history advances, Dani becames the world's hero and has to defeat the tyrant and ruler of the world The Void.
