RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (RCT2 for short) is the sequel to RollerCoaster Tycoon and the prequel to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is very similar to RollerCoaster Tycoon, as it uses the same gaming engine. However, it includes new rides and more scenery decorating capabilities (User-created buildings, for instance). RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 differs greatly from RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, mainly because RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 makes the transition to 3-D.
