Acolytes wielded lightsaber lances, such as the Shadow Guards used. They also knew and used several Force powers. Not much was known about their deployment history, but it is known that a majority of them were stationed on Coruscant. Many were part of the Fourth Jedi Purge. A lot of them were stationed on Kamino to defend the cloning facilities there. The Chief of State used a contingent of them as body guards. Acolyte cadets were mostly clones, but also Force sensitive non-clone cadets. They were drilled and trained on Kamino.
