The Red Death was a Nazi agent who planned to bomb the major cities of the United States with a deadly gas of his own creation. Although he was able to capture Spy Smasher, the hero managed to escape and send the Red Death and his gang to the bottom of the ocean. The Red Death was about 7 feet tall and very strong. He carried a gun that emitted a red gas that turned a person's skin red as they died.
