Spiky Prickly Plants are bushes that have thorns. The normal variety are big and green with big yellow thorns growing out of them. They shoot these spikes whenever they feel threatened, such as when a Human gets too close. To get rid of them, it is recommended one use the Severing Charm in order to cut their stems. These plants are covered in second year Herbology classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However wild Spiky Prickly Plants have thin stems, somewhat green with brown thorns growing out. These cannot shoot spikes, but one should still not approach them.
