He also features in The Branches of Darkmeyer along with other Myreque members. Like the rest of the Myreque, he attends the raid on Castle Drakan during The Lord of Vampyrium, but is killed by one of Lowerniel Drakan's venator while trying to avenge Andiess. During River of Blood, a hallucination of his head is seen on a bookshelf with him saying that he is not afraid anymore. In In Memory of the Myreque, a statue is built in his honour. It is revealed that he had a tendency to lose one of his shoes or the other.
