Villager Tateha is a child that lives in the town of Yamataikoku. When asked by Lady Shizuka, she recounts information about the ceremony that takes place in Yamataikoku for the continued protection of the village. She views the world in child-like wonder and completes school projects in a unique fashion. When she was instructed to study crows she believes the best way to first study them is to understand why they caw. She then proceeds to dress herself up like a crow to understand this phenomena.
