Jenny was the daughter of Bill Malloy's niece. In 1966, she'd been planning a trip with her mother when Bill requested that Carolyn Stoddard go along. Jenny and her mother reluctantly accepted, but Carolyn ultimately turned down the offer anyway, as she knew it was only a ploy to get her out of Collinsport while Burke Devlin was in town (9).
