Franklin MacDonald (born April 8, 1985 in Sydney, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian ice hockey defenceman currently playing for EHC Black Wings Linz of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. MacDonald spent three seasons with the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League before turning pro in 2006 and signed with the Florida Panthers, though he never played in the NHL spliting his tenure with the AHL's Rochester Americans and the ECHL's Florida Everblades over three seasons. In 2009, MacDonald moved to Austria and signed with EHC Black Wings Linz.
