Joen was an employee of the Allied Copenhagen Marine Merchants in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was approached by Rachel Blake, who told him a story about how her great-grandfather was once a crewman for the Allied Copenhagen Marine Merchants, and that she was piecing together his life's story for her grandmother. She told him that she wanted was to look in the archive and get the names of some of the ships on which he had served, however, she got lost along thew way. Joen let her in to look inside, however, Rachel got the feeling that he also wanted to take her to dinner as well. (Copenhagen Post 02)
