Javelins are pointed implements, usually wood, that can be used either as paw-held weapons or a close range weapon. The throwing type, as a rule, has a limited range that relies a lot on the strength and arm length of the thrower, but a simple device consisting of a piece of wood with a notch at one end can bypass this rule, extending the throwing arm by almost twice as much.
