Chamberlain Middle School was a middle school located on Chamberlain in Los Angeles. Its motto was "Enter to learn, go forth for service". During Day 3, Cordilla virus courier Arthur Rabens ran into the school to elude federal agents. While CTU agents locked down the exits, Jack Bauer, Chase Edmunds, and several other agents performed a full search of the building. Chase was ambushed by Rabens while searching a laboratory, and attached the dispersal device to his arm in the ensuing struggle. Rabens armed the device, but was killed by Jack before he could finish Chase off. Unable to defuse the device in time, Jack amputated Chase's arm so he could remove it.
