Plasma surge is a psionic power demonstrated by protoss high templars. It involves channeling psionic energy into the plasma shields of protoss warriors, regenerating their shields. High Templar Karass demonstrated this ability, and could regenerate the shields of protoss around him. During the End War, high templar honed their abilities to aid in their race's darkest hour, learning to channel the power of their psionic storms into the shields of their allies.
