This thread presented a red fence with the words See The Future painted white on it; below it shows a countdown, which aimed to 20:00 UTC, 28 April 2012. It named three locations: the Grand Exchange, Ardougne and Catherby. When the counter hit zero, rifts opened in the locations, which wizards attempted to control, before fading away. This was the reason the event was dubbed "See the Future", as it provided a teaser of the Runespan before its release.
