Kōsuke Hakoda (波古那 幸次官, Hakoda Kōsuke; "Requiem Helper, Rejected Connection") is a Kirigakure missing-nin and the cousin of Kouhei Hakoda. Born to Keiji and Izayoi Hakoda in Kirigakure, Kōsuke grew up in a regular setting, and in a normal environment. However, his demeanor was arguably sadistic; Kōsuke loved to utilize his Kekkei Genkai to torture people and demand prizes and such. Having enough of it, Kōsuke was sent to live with Kouhei's family, which had just settled in Kirigakure. Sent to the Ninja Academy, he met Hei, and the three began a friendship together. Their friendship was cemented when they were all placed on the same Genin team. After being promoted to Chūnin, Kōsuke left Kirigakure, and was labeled a missing-nin.
