The Consul was a basic design that was used as a pattern for constructing lightsaber hilts. It is a short hilt with bronze markings around the hilt. It was in use by students and Knights that served with the New Jedi Order as of 14 ABY. Jaden Korr used such a hilt for his second lightsaber.
