Simon Lacroix (born on May 29, 1989 in Orleans, Ontario) is a Canadian defenceman playing for the University of Moncton. He played junior hockey for the Shawinigan Cataractes and Val-d'Or Foreurs from 2006 to 2010. The New York Islanders chose him 196th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He joined the University of Moncton in 2010.
