The Time Lab also known as The Time Vault is a secret hidden room within S.T.A.R. Labs it along with The AI known as Gideon were both created by Barry Allen 9 Years in the future or possible more precisely the Year 2024. At some unknown point in time The Lab and Gideon fell under the control of Professor Zoom along with both being being made mobile and were able to be moved to the present day. Once under the control of Professor Zoom used The Lab as his main base of operations to store his Suit, secretly monitor Barry Allen and The Flash Family and ask for Gideon's help in various matters often dealing with research of events from the future and the overall monitoring of the timeline to make sure it hasn't changed the history which he remembers.
