Jeremiah was the inhabited planet of the Hume System in the Breslau Sector of the Silesian Confederacy. In the early 18th Century PD, it became the target of a military intervention by the Royal Manticoran Navy and Marine Corps in response to several pirate attacks by "privateers" sponsored by the Hume Liberation Front.
