The 1959 Firecracker 250 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Daytona International Speedway on July 4, 1959. Fireball Roberts dominated the inagural event, leading 84 of the 100 laps in route to a fifty-seven second victory over Joe Weatherly. It was Roberts' only win of the season.
