Olaf was a solder during the war against the Burning Legion. While he died in battle, his money as well as the head of Demon he had slain passed to his brother, Erik, who used both to fulfill Olaf's dream of open a Tavern. Erik was named "The Demonsbane" for the Demon skull hanging over the bar in honor of this brother. (CoH 3,4)
