Image:Green Evir.gif Evirs are (or were) a race of crustaceanoids that were once found within the confines of Maridia underneath the surface of the planet Zebes. The children of Draygon, they appear to be allies to the Space Pirates, which is likely the only way they could have survived Zebes' destruction. Evirs possess a culture of some sort, and are known to bury their dead. Some Evirs were taken over by a number of X-parasites, leading to another example of how they may be still alive as allies to the Space Pirates, however, until better proof is shown, they are listed as virtually extinct in the wild.
