Most spartans didn't survive the enhancements that was given to them. About 33 were left and mostly all of them died in the battle of reach.Most were WIA or MIA. Only 2 were left: John-177,master chief, and another unnamed spartan,who substained life threatening injuries and was frozen. Now Master Chief is the last active spartan. <
